Paladin legend Rextroy continues to defeat new bosses in the latest content solo and shows WoW developers how broken PvP scaling is. Despite numerous oneshot videos with all sorts of tricks, Rextroy still knows how to surprise us and in his latest video he shows how to not only knock players off their feet with one hit without equipment, but how to stay mounted while doing so.

As is so often the case, this cut-together spectacle involves a lot of preparation and a few tricks. This time, Shield of Retribution from the Paladin's Protection spec is responsible for the damage. Through this spell, the Paladin absorbs incoming damage and discharges the stored damage when the shield expires.

In order for Shield of Retribution to oneshot players, Rextroy once again tricks around with versatility and WoW's flawed PvP scaling (buy now €14.99 ). Rextroy charges the shield with full Versatility gear and the help of Eye of Corruption, then pulls out his gear.

The

amount of damage absorbed remains the same and, due to the broken PvP scaling, does even more damage to enemy players than the tooltip indicates.

The problem with Shield of Retribution is that the effect is clearly visible and players have some time to run away from Rextroy, so the effect goes nowhere. To trigger the explosion effect of the shield at the press of a button, Rextroy used an engineering device: goblin pioneer blaster charge. This item deals a bit of damage to the player when used itself. As you can see in the video, it was painstaking work to take enough damage through the Eye of Corruption that Shield of Retribution doesn't break and just enough of the absorption effect remains for Goblin Pioneer Blast to trigger the explosion effect. To get to the perfect level, Rextroy even helped himself to Classic buff food, which increases his stamina by 2 points.
