When Deathwing swept across Azeroth over ten years ago, he irrevocably changed the face of our virtual world. But that's not all. The Cataclysm expansion also changed the gameplay. Many items and crafting recipes disappeared from the game for good and never returned. Although that's not entirely true. They are still in the game, but can no longer be looted or bought. Occasionally, they can still be found in the auction house for ridiculously high prices - sold by players who bought the recipes in question before the cataclysm and stored them in the bank. Some of these recipes are likely to drop drastically in value soon. That's because a handful of old recipes are returning to the game in patch 9.1.

As part of Time Walk: Cataclysm, we're getting access to nine old recipes that haven't been available in over a decade via the Time Walk Trader. This is Blizzard's response to a suggestion that they received from the community.
The following recipes will soon be available again:

  • Recipe: Great Arcane Protection Potion
  • Recipe: Lean venison
  • Recipe: Large bear steak
  • Recipe: Lean Wolf Steak
  • Blueprint: Ice Deflector
  • Pattern: Robe of the Winter Night
  • Pattern: Storm Veil Shoulders
  • Pattern: Storm Veil Gauntlets
  • Pattern: Storm Veil Armor

However, you will have to wait a little longer before you can complete your collection with the recipes. The next Time Walk: Cataclysm will not take place until September 22, 2021. Until then, you still have time to stock up on Time Warped badges. Because even if it is not yet known how expensive the recipes will be - they are unlikely to be cheap.
