Patch 9.1 will go down in WoW history as the latest X.1 patch of an expansion as a negative example. We've talked about this several times now, but of course we're still happy that WoW Shadowlands patch 9.1 will finally be released on June 30. We've spent a good seven months playing the release version of the add-on, playing Mythic-Plus ad nauseam, entering battlegrounds and arenas, and seeing Castle Nathria more often than we would have liked at the beginning.

All the more surprising, then, are the reactions from the community. Some would have preferred a little more time in patch 9.0.5, for others two weeks preparation time for a patch is too little.

Two weeks for a TBC release was admittedly a bit short of time to prepare for an expansion. But especially after seven months, a patch with two weeks of announcement time shouldn't come as too much of a surprise after all. Some justify their opinion with the fact that they stopped playing WoW (buy now 14,99 € )

Some would have preferred four weeks of preparation time and doubt the quality of Patch 9.1, which they say should have been tested longer on the PTR.

Many a person hasn't completed their keystone master achievement after seven months. Granted, you have to do quite a bit for that to happen, but possibly the Season 1 Keystone Master achievement will probably become one of the easiest Season achievements in retrospect, since you had a lot of time to do it,

And then there's actually the faction that's upset that WoW's patch 9.1 falls during the holiday season, of all times. "People want to travel," they say. Would August have been a non-holiday time? Should Blizzard really be taking summer vacations, etc. Consideration? Isn't travel a bit more complicated than usual right now anyway due to the current state of some places?

Sometimes you can't really figure out players.
