Update from August 26:
Artist and WoW fan Sercan Özyurt aka Lordozy has been busy over the past few weeks, creating more class armor based on the Ny'alotha raid design, for almost all classes. Below you can see the variants for Warlock, Priest, Demon Hunter, Mage and Warrior.

Original news from August 05:
Creative fan art projects are a welcome change and a fantastic source of ideas. This is especially true for classic WoW designs! In recent years, artists have presented us with their artwork, fancy designs, and alternative concepts for races, classes, weapons, as well as armor. These fan works are sometimes even better received by the WoW audience than the originals from Blizzard.

What we notice most about the artists' alternative designs is how much players miss the tier sets. These class-specific gear sets have enjoyed great popularity since the beginning of World of Warcraft (buy now €14.99 ). With Battle for Azeroth, however, the developers opted for type-based armor designs. Instead of creating unique regalia for each class, all cloth, leather, chain, and plate wearers got the same armor. And while the odd set from the BfA raids was quite respectable (the mythic sets are a good example!), the new armors were no replacement at all for the popular T-sets. Fortunately, this is changing in WoW Shadowlands!

Sercan Özyurt, also known

as

Lordozy, is a more talented artist who likes to design alternative concepts and armor sets for World of Warcraft. A few days ago, he presented his latest work on Reddit, which focuses on an armor for hunters. The design of the exotic huntsman set is all about Ny'alotha. The numerous details such as eyes, horns and mutations are strongly reminiscent of the Faceless Servants and Cultists of the Old Gods. According to Lordozy, the concept harkens back to the original Hunter T-Sets, which Blizzard adorned with all sorts of trophies from the respective villains.

By the way, on Artstation you can find more works of the artist. The highlights of his gallery are concepts of Warcraft characters like Necromancer or Troll Shadowhunter. But Lordozy also designs weapons and mounts that fit the respective WoW theme.
