New month, new server links for World of Warcraft. But what Community Manager Sphariou recently announced in the official WoW forum is not entirely new. There it says namely:

We plan to link the following realms during scheduled maintenance from September 3 at 21:00 until September 4 at approximately 5:00 CEST:

  • The realms Lizard Cauldron, Mal'Ganis, and Taerar will be merged with the realm Blackhand.

We are planning additional realm mergers for low population density realms and will be releasing notices like this in the coming weeks.

Originally, the four servers mentioned above were supposed to be merged last month. Or wait, there was a similar announcement for July already. As we all know, all good things come in threes.
