The author of these lines is online in WoW Classic almost every day, but he hasn't been able or willing to bring too many factions up to the level of Honorable. In fact, he only has the maximum reputation status with three factions: the Zandalar tribe, the Hydraxians and the Frostwolf clan. In the near future, Argent Dawn, Brood of Nozdormus, and Coven of Cenarius will surely be added to the list. But that's it.

WoW Classic player Hycran approaches the topic of "reputation" quite differently. Not only is he a Scarab Lord and proud bearer of Sulfuras, but he also managed to get an impressive 21 of the 22 possible factions for Horde players to Revered (via Wowhead). On Reddit, Hycran recently talked about the reputation grind, and also revealed why he won't be bringing the last faction to Honorable as well. Here's the short version:

  • Brut Nozdormus was faction #21 that could bring Hycran to Revered.
  • With the two centaur factions in Desolace there is still a 23rd faction where you can increase reputation, but here the maximum is a respectful reputation.
  • The only thing missing from the player's "collection" now is the reverent reputation with the Bloodsail Buccaneers. However, the grind behind this faction is too time-consuming. He would have to plan about 25 days of pure playing time for it now. Since he recently became a father, however, this prospect doesn't appeal to him at all.
  • Back in Vanilla, he was able to accumulate about 125 days of playtime with his main character. In the raids, he got as far as Huhuran, and after that it was the end of the road. In Classic, he now has much better equipment after about 100 days of play, and the Old God C'Thun has been defeated several times. And he also couldn't master the above mentioned achievements in Vanilla WoW, but now he can.

What about your WoW Classic character? How many reputation factions do you already have on Honorable? Or do you completely miss the reputation without achievements? Tell us in the comments!
