Actually, the Baleful War Spider is the reward for successfully fighting on the rated battlegrounds as well as in the arena in the upcoming Season 1 of WoW: Shadowlands

. However, it will still take a little while until the season starts. The seasons for rated PvP, the Mythic-Plus-Dungeons and the regular visits to Castle Nathria will officially start on December 9th.

The streamer loganwow was all the more surprised when he unexpectedly became the owner of the conspicuous PvP mount already now, in the pre-patch of Shadowlands. How? Well, he won a normal 3vs3 match in the arena. The mount simply popped up as an extra prize after the win. You can watch the scene here on Twitch.

It's clear that the mount, which is actually not yet available in Orgrimmar, has quickly attracted attention. Here is a screenshot from Reddit user a10benoman:

Now, of course, the question is whether this stroke of luck can be repeated, respectively whether Blizzard will now remove the spider again or whether loganwow will be allowed to keep the animal. Because it seems certain that this is a bug. Not only has the first season of Shadowlands not even started yet, but it has never been the case in the past that seasonal rewards could just randomly drop after arena wins. What do you think: Should Blizzard keep the Spiteful Spider in the game now or remove it again? Tell us in the comments!
