The release of WoW Classic is imminent - and especially expectant fans can let off steam on the test servers this weekend. Blizzard has announced that the last test phase before the actual launch of the Classic servers will be available all weekend until Monday, August 12, 2019 at 18:00 German time.

In an official forum post, the developers write: "We will leave the WoW (buy now 24,99 € ) Classic Pre-Launch Test Realms open and available for play all weekend. Feel free to test WoW Classic as much as you like. The pre-launch test will end on Monday, August 12 at 9:00am PDT. We're not planning an in-game event this time when we take the servers down. Thank you so much to everyone who participated in the test - just as we hoped you would! Thanks to you, we've been able to refine our plans for launch, and we've even discovered a few issues that we were working on yesterday. See you in Azeroth!"

So fans will have to do without a dedicated final testing event this time around. But the disappointment about it should be short-lived - after all, on August 27, 2019, the long wait for WoW Classic servers will finally come to an end and we can plunge into the nostalgically dressed pleasure.
